My philosophy when designing is to re-contextualize materials. For example, I like zippers and I love playing with them to transform textiles. I enjoy going to unusual places to look for materials and inspiration. For example, in my first collection, I used materials found in the medical field, such as gauze and needles, to showcase a woman’s beauty inside and out.
